Our Chairman, Hugh Williams, recently shared an impactful reflection on the importance of surrounding oneself with positive, optimistic people. He quoted Mark Miller, former CEO of Stericycle and Morningstar CEO of the Year, who said, "I surround myself with people who are positive and optimistic. If you aren’t both of those things, I cannot win with you." This powerful statement resonates deeply with Hugh and emphasizes that the people we choose to align with reveal much about the type of person we aspire to be. And it serves as the inspiration for The Elevator Pitch, a new show featuring inspiring figures from Hugh’s ecosystem—mentors, investors, clients, and friends- celebrating the power of connection and collaboration and sharing the stories and insights of individuals who inspire greatness in both business and life. Join Hugh on The Elevator Pitch as he invites others to join him on this exciting journey at the KWILLIS Tower in Chicago, eager to rise together in both purpose and success. Explore previous episodes with an impressive lineup of guests, including Super Bowl champion Ryan Mundy, prominent business leaders like Anthony Licata and Robert C. Fix, and industry experts such as Molly McShane and Sean Sullivan. Umoja’s nutrition programs are dedicated to helping eligible children access free meals during the summer and after-school months, ensuring they have the nutrition they need to thrive. Through the Summer Food Service Program (SFSP) and the Child and Adult Care Food Program (CACFP), Umoja offers flexible and tailored meal solutions for schools, community organizations, and other local partners. One exciting new development is the Rural Non-Congregate (RNC) model, which allows meals to be distributed in innovative ways, ensuring greater equity and access in meal programs—especially for rural and underserved communities. Umoja is here to help you implement these solutions seamlessly. If you're interested in how these programs can benefit your community or organization, contact Shawn Mason, Director of Innovation, SFSP & CACFP Meal Programs, and request a quote for a nutrition plan that meets your specific needs. https://lnkd.in/gG59YqX2 #Umoja #NutritionPrograms #SFSP #CACFP #RuralEquity #ChildNutrition #CommunitySupport #HealthyMeals
