Congratulations Olubukola Adegbenro, the latest recipient of the Paul A. Volcker Government Internship Award! The objective of the Paul A. Volcker Government Internship Award is to open the door to careers in public service and help NextGen Service Corps students gain vital skills to better serve their communities and nation. Olubukola Adegbenro is a junior student at the University of Baltimore, pursuing a degree in Health Management. As a dedicated member of the Next Generation Service Corps and as the latest recipient of the Paul A. Volcker Government Award, she is committed to making a positive impact in the healthcare industry. Olubukola is a graduate of the Georgia Military College where she earned her associate of arts in pre-nursing studies. She recently interned at the Maryland Department of Aging, where she saw how legislation is created and how hearings are conducted. She stated that this opportunity showcased to her the many ways that government can have an impact on everyday lives and reinforced her belief that the best place to work is in government. Please join us in congratulating Olubukola! 👏 We are excited to see all that you accomplish in this internship and beyond.
