A unified K-12 school district serving students in the northern section of the city of Sacramento and the surrounding county of Sacramento area. Created through the 2009 merger of the North Sacramento School District, Del Paso School District, Rio Linda School District and Grant Joint Union School District. Twin Rivers USD serves approximately 27,000 preschool through adult education students in northern Sacramento County. We are located in a growing, ethnically-diverse region characterized by a mix of suburban development and light industry, encompassing 120 square miles.

TRUSD has partnered with Sac State to offer an intensive 1-year program beginning in the summer.
