In 2024, TRIPP experienced an exciting milestone with the official launch of our Kōkua Core platform. This innovative system integrates emotional and biosignal (when available and with user optin) context to enhance interactions with various AI systems, including LLMs, Image-Gens, and TRIPP breath AI. The Kōkua AI Guide, powered by Kōkua Core, empowers users to extend our platform's capabilities by making personalized requests for emotional and mental wellbeing support. The people using our app are our partners in the building and evolution of Kōkua. This year, the 2024 TRIPP Mood report includes highlights from conversations with Kōkua, our emotional support guide live on TRIPP Mobile and VR apps. Our audience expanded globally with new International countries represented in our user base. We also saw a 33% increase in Gen-Z users this year who came to TRIPP for support. Upon our debut on the Quest in December 2019, we initiated a pivotal question for our app users: "How do you feel?" Collaborating with @Walter Greenleaf and advisors from the National Mental Health Innovation Center, we designed data collection interfaces with a focus on integrity and user data protection. This journey has been a continuous evolution, particularly meaningful for me, having dedicated my career to developing consumer products. Working alongside academics, clinicians, and the research community has been enlightening. The insights gained from TRIPP's studies have been invaluable, and I eagerly anticipate the ongoing expansion of our data as we expand Kōkua's capabilities across multiple platforms, aiding us in enhancing our support for individuals. #TRIPP #EmotionalIntelligence #AI #MentalWellbeing
