In the early days, our system didn’t have a solid app for scheduling, so I would write appointments down and put them on my personal calendar. It was messy and time-consuming, but it was all we had. Then we moved to a system called Vonigo, which was an overall good tool. However, when we first started using it, it didn’t integrate directly with Google Calendar. That meant manually transferring appointment info from Vonigo to Google Calendar—a hassle, but necessary. Having appointments on Google Calendar was a lifesaver because it synced with my phone, letting me know where I needed to be and how long it would take to get there. Eventually, Vonigo added Google integration, and it was game-changing. Later, we switched to ServiceTitan, a much more robust platform for data. While it offered incredible features, it didn’t have a seamless link to Google Calendar. This felt like a backward step, but ServiceTitan allowed me to create a Zap to sync with Google Calendar, solving the problem and bringing back some of that much-needed efficiency. Fast forward to today, and the process for my painting business has been completely transformed thanks to TMO Turbo. When a lead comes into the system through our call center, ServiceTitan captures their information. Then, TMO Turbo steps in.
