Last month, over 500 pre-service educators came together for the Bright Beginnings virtual conference to learn from literacy experts such as Dr. Anita Archer, Mitchell Brookins, Ph.D., and more. Organized by five innovative professors, this free event offered evidence-aligned reading instruction guidelines, practical examples, and lessons to inspire and empower the next generation of educators. There are many misconceptions about what dyslexia is and is not.
