So proud of Fiona Chen and her work this semester at The Water Tower. It’s inspiring to see the incredible work happening through partnerships like these to give students an authentic experience outside the classroom!
The Water Tower has provided a great opportunity for high school seniors to work within the water industry. As an innovative center, The Water Tower blends research, technology, and education together to provide a better future. The Workforce Development program devotes itself to educating its community on water utilities. One of CHARGEnorth’s seniors Fiona Chen has been training at The Water Tower with their dedicated Wastewater Utility Operator Workforce Program. Along with the F. Wayne Hill Water Resources Facility, the program has allowed her to work and refine on skills such as data collection and monitoring. Working amongst a team, she has been able to effectively use her communication and problem solving skills to complete tasks around the facility. She is extremely thankful to Courtney Lee and the Water Tower for creating this opportunity and looks forward to contributing towards the whole community. #waterresources #waterworkforce #futureofwater #internship #teamgcps #nghs #gcpsctae #gwinnett #stemeducation
