Since 2019, Regional Safety Supervisor Ira House has built more than 200 custom sports-themed speakers from recycled ammunition boxes and raffled them on his Facebook page for charity. This fall, House proposed to Project Manager Samantha L. Leonard and Superintendent Chris Rollag that they organize a charity raffle around weekly safety meetings at Project Webster, the massive fairlife, LLC dairy processing plant under construction in Webster, New York. “With more than 100 people on-site at any given time, it seemed like a good opportunity to do something positive,” House said. “I offered one of my speakers as the prize, and we priced tickets at $1 to make the event accessible. We encouraged team members to gift tickets to contract partners as a ‘thank you’ for their hard work on the project.” Safety Coordinators Matthew McLauchlan and MItchell Pogue promoted the raffle each week, with support from Victoria Barger, who helped manage logistics. Owing to their location in Upstate New York, the prize was decorated with Buffalo Bills branding. To encourage participation, House promised to build a second speaker if the raffle met the goal of $1,000. After passing this goal at $1,139, an additional winner was selected to receive the second speaker. Raffle winner Edgar Ruben Ortega Mosqueda designated the funds to the GoFundMe campaign “In Memory of Daniel: Funeral Support,” which helped defray the costs incurred by a cousin’s family. “We’ve held raffles before, but this was, by far, our most successful one yet,” House said. “I’m so grateful and proud to be part of a team that was so willing to help facilitate this and for the chance to give to a great cause.” Marie Stalewski, Courtney Linn, Jacob Perdue, Michael Johnson, MBA, Christopher Parillo, Deanna Biddick, Grant Foreman, Rodger Lawrence #Community #ServantLeadership #BuffaloBills #Leadership #HaskellAEC

The sun literally never sets on Haskell’s design professionals. From its beginnings as a U.S.-based design-build pioneer, Haskell has evolved into a global #AEC leader. Part of that leadership has been the intentional and organic development of our International Design Center (IDC), which comprises nearly 200 design professionals working seamlessly across Latin America (LATAM) and Asia-Pacific (APAC). By integrating regional insights and global workflows, the IDC combines sustainable design practices, cost-effective solutions and culturally nuanced approaches. With a unique and varied set of dynamics affecting the Aviation & Aerospace industries, the Haskell.com team recently sat down with Paul Raudenbush, Senior Vice President and Segment Market Leader, to ask 5 Questions: Addressing Aviation’s Recovery and Innovation in 2025. Raudenbush said the space launch and satellite segment are leading with innovative solutions and require an innovative facilities partner to keep pace. He noted that commercial aviation can leverage maintenance, repair and overhaul (#MRO) programs to improve commercial fleets' reliability and service life in the face of continued supply chain problems. At the same time, other aircraft sectors that focus on new technologies are better positioned to deliver new products than ever before. Haskell has served Aviation & Aerospace clients for decades with integrated project delivery and tailored solutions to help them achieve their goals confidently and quickly.
