We invest in people and ideas that change the world. Take risks. Be bold. Fail forward. Be Fearless.
About us
Established by digital pioneers Jean and Steve Case, the Case Foundation invests in people and ideas that can change the world. For nearly two decades, we have focused on creating programs and investing in people and organizations that harness the best impulses of entrepreneurship, innovation, technology and collaboration to address urgent social challenges. We strive to Be Fearless in our approach to social change. We don’t limit ourselves to any one sector or issue, rather we partner across industries and search across issues to identify opportunities where innovation is needed to address an urgent challenge. We find and fund efforts that break down barriers and divisions, challenge the status quo and offer new solutions to ever-evolving problems, all in pursuit of one bold mission – investing in people and ideas that can change the world. Our work generally falls into three pillars: Revolutionizing Philanthropy, Unleashing Entrepreneurship and Igniting Civic Engagement. The interplay among the three pillars is at the heart of everything we do and where we believe real impact can be made to improve the human condition, reduce social and economic inequalities that erode the social fabric and build partnerships and communities that ground peaceful and prosperous nations. ALERT: We are aware of fraudulent emails and LinkedIn messages that are circulating and appear to be from the Case Foundation, but are instead attempts to collect personal financial information. You should never respond to these. We will NEVER ask for personal financial information via email, text message, or phone. President Carter was a tireless and fearless champion of peace, health, and hope. Through his dedicated work with The Carter Center, Habitat for Humanity, and numerous other organizations, he consistently extended himself to uplift those most in need. Witnessing his efforts firsthand was truly inspiring. In light of his passing, we join the Carter family and millions globally in mourning. His leadership and compassion will be profoundly missed, both in our nation and around the world. #RestInPeace #LegacyOfHope #JimmyCarter

This #FearlessFriday, we’re inspired by Bryan Stevenson, the founder of the Equal Justice Initiative. Featured in Jean Case’s book "Be Fearless," he has devoted his life to helping “the poor, the incarcerated, and condemned,” fearlessly advocating for their rights. From his books to the Equal Justice Initiative to the key role he played in bringing the National Memorial for Peace and Justice in Montgomery to life, Brian’s impact and commitment is an inspiration to us all. https://lnkd.in/gYGCj-B

This #FearlessFriday, we draw inspiration from environmental activist Erin Brockovich. Her #fearless fight for justice has made her a symbol of resilience and change. Through her advocacy, she has defended communities and held corporations accountable. https://lnkd.in/ebpjTzJR
