Building Arc — a better way to use the Internet.
About us
The Browser Company of New York is a group of friendly humans working to make the internet feel more like home. But how? The web browser is one of the most important tools we use — not just on our computers, but in our lives. The world has changed in the past 15 years, but our web browsers look and behave pretty much the same. We think it’s time to push the web browser forward again, which is why we built Arc — a browser that’s not just faster, but also more personal, focused, creative… and maybe even more fun. If this is as exciting for you as it is for us, don't hesitate to say hello! We're always looking for great people to join our mission. hello@thebrowser.company

A total joy to talk with Linear about crafting products that make you feel something. I honestly feel so lucky that I get to do this with an immeasurably talented group of humans every single day at @browsercompany!

Quality or craft is not about building in a vacuum. You need to build with the users, or how The Browser Company and Adena Nadler calls them, members.

Last Friday, I learned what webinar anxiety feels like. But it was 100% worth it, as I had such a blast demo-ing Arc at Tools for the Future, a webinar featuring the CEOs of Figma, The Browser Company, and Notion! We streamed to a crazy 1,000+ people- thanks to all who took the time to hop on. Compliments to Lauren (McCann) Ryan and Devin Lewtan for the incredibly smooth hosting, and a huge thank you to Dylan Field, Josh Miller, and Ivan Zhao for sharing their insights as founders. If you missed it, the recorded webinar is on Figma's Youtube (https://lnkd.in/g3V9GU-A) and you can find me at 54:15. 💌

🎉I am so happy to announce that I am now an Arc Ambassador for The Browser Company!🎉 #Arc has been my main browser for almost a year now and it’s made conducting research so much easier for me. When I was in the trenches writing my thesis paper and opening hundreds of JSTOR articles every week, I constantly relied on Arc’s multitasking and organization features to get by. I can’t wait to show everyone at the University of Hawaii at Manoa why they should be using Arc! I also want to thank Devin Lewtan for bringing me on board! Being among the 50 students chosen for this opportunity (out of 875 applicants!) is such a privilege and I’m so excited to work with you and the rest of my cohort! Try it out here! https://arc.net/students #ArcAmbassador #TheBrowserCompany #SchoolOfBrowser

Today, I had the incredible opportunity to be a panelist on the Arc x Notion x Figma "Tools for the Future" event featuring the CEOs and Co-Founders of all three companies! With over 2,150 attendees from all around the world, I demoed how I use The Browser Company's Arc browser as part of my daily life as a Stanford student. Just about a year ago, I discovered Arc during my first Stanford computer science class. Since then, I've been hooked — I've even made a few videos on my TikTok about it. That's how the amazing Devin Lewtan found me, and she's been an amazing mentor ever since! Thank you, Devin, for inviting me to this event! I'm so excited to see how Arc continues to grow. I was truly inspired by the conversations between Josh Miller, Dylan Field, and Ivan Zhao today — brilliantly moderated by Lauren (McCann) Ryan. As Ivan and Josh encouraged all of us to do, I will try to find my banana and maybe build an oval-shaped browser (if you know, you know 🍌🤔) as I continue to navigate my studies in the heart of silicon valley. If you missed the event, you can catch the livestream recording on Figma's YouTube channel: https://lnkd.in/gUt5mm3n! Check out my specific tips and tricks at 49:32-54:04. 🤗💙 #Arc #Notion #Figma #TheBrowserCompany #college #backtoschool #organizationtips #students #stanford
