About us
Twin Cities Startup Week (TCSW) is a multidisciplinary festival celebrating Minnesota's expansive startup ecosystem. Events hosted over seven days are intended to build relationships and drive collaboration to support and develop the state's most innovative businesses. Partnerships between founders, government, corporations, foundations, educational institutions and entrepreneurial support organizations provide spaces for the startup community to connect and accelerate support of Minnesota's startup founders - at any stage of growth. In 2023, the festival celebrates it's tenth year and sets the tone for the next decade of expansion. Themed "Zero to Global", this year's event will consider the communities of support and resources available to startups at every stage. Twin Cities Startup Week is owned and operated by Minneapolis-based 501c3 nonprofit organization, The Beta Group (BETA and tech.mn).

What. A. Week. To everyone who experienced Twin Cities Startup 2024—the founders, thinkers, tinkerers, doers, makers, and more—THANK YOU. We are blown away by the amount of expertise, creativity, connection, and kindness we witnessed throughout the week. We sincerely hope you were able to make the most of your #TCSW2024 experience. From attending an Anchor Event (shoutout to MN Cup (University of Minnesota - Carlson School of Management), The MSP Equity Fund, and Minnestar!) to hearing from dozens of amazing community members in TCSW Sessions, there was a lot to do, learn, and take away. We’d also like to extend a special thank you to every one of our valued partners including our Strategic Partners—U.S. Bank, Minnesota Department of Employment and Economic Development, JPMorganChase, and Northeast Bank. Without the support of our partners, TCSW would not be possible. The days are getting shorter, but the TCSW team isn’t heading in hibernation anytime soon. Please keep an eye on your inbox for a TCSW feedback survey. Your feedback is crucial to helping us make each TCSW better than the last. Again, thank you for being part of Twin Cities Startup Week 2024. Let’s do it again next year, yeah?

Welcome to the Founders Xchange track day at #TCSW2024! The final day of this year's event is for founders, by founders. Today has two main goals: 1) Connect founders with customers. 👥 2) Connect founders with money. 💰 During the Sessions, you'll hear panel discussions from experienced entrepreneurs and participate in valuable breakout sessions with fellow founders. All founders are welcome to attend, but the content will be most valuable for those who have somewhat validated product-market fit. View the schedule here: https://hubs.la/Q02QxzjB0 Have a great day!

Twin Cities Startup Week (TCSW) reposted this
As part of Twin Cities Startup Week (TCSW), our Workbox Minneapolis - Downtown team hosted an impactful panel discussion centered around Startup Funding in 2024. Phil Leslie, Managing Partner of Workbox Ventures and panel moderator, started the conversation, covering topics such as the importance of creating a business that customers love and the current state of venture funding in 2024. The panel discussion then went on to emphasize that it’s never too early to start building a relationship with potential investors; even a brief note mentioning something interesting about their portfolio or asking about their key criteria and metrics can be an effective way to engage them. We want to thank CLA (CliftonLarsonAllen) for their partnership on this event as well as our impressive panel, who shared their insights on the future of funding trends and strategies in the evolving startup landscape.
