This 102-unit student-living apartment building in Iowa City shows how residential projects can revitalize space while preserving historical features. Green highlights include: 🍃 A 52% reduction in water use 🍃 Location in a dense downtown area with expansive walking, biking, and transit access 🍃 A 24% reduction in energy use attributable to a VRF system with dedicated outside air 🍃 A prefabricated exterior wall system with high insulation values Iowa had 10 LEED-certified projects this past year—we’re setting the pace for increasing innovation and sustainability in years to come.
