I see a lot of folks writing about #agentic #GTM systems, be it MAP, CRM, SDR/Outbound tools, etc. IMO, beyond automation of some tasks to help lower CAC and be “more efficient,” they are all smoke. There is nothing new: too many companies bombarding a bunch of other companies, whether AI or not, will not replace the need for the basics from a GTM perspective. There was never a magic gumball machine either; it was always an enormous influx of capital to expand all markets simultaneously that caused a “frothy time in SaaS”. But that gumball machine isn’t broken, it’s just simply empty at the moment. So, a tool will not make you a better marketer or AE or SDR — tenacity and the traditional 3Ps will. Now AI that shores up your 3Ps in the market will help you scale and be more efficient, but not replace them for success. With a few exceptions, it has always been about those things to succeed — and how much you can afford to buy a market with investor $s. So marketing, sales, and sdr folks: please don’t get confused about these basics in favor of new fancy TLAs for AI. Until all humans are gone, and you just have androids selling and buying from other androids, human nature, relationships, great product, and tenacious execution is still very much the most important thing, not tools. But when you have a need for AI, actually ML in 99% of these use cases, remember that #data is the most importent thing, not the agents. Heck, the agents will develop themselves soon, right? Therefore, in closing, data, organized, clean, Any360, like what Syncari provides, is the new gumball machine for your business. The rest is just an innovative product, the right pricing model for the ICP/market, and best promotions/ads/place; plus, the most important, relentless execution.
