Last week marked an unforgettable milestone for innovation in the built world! Thank you to everyone who traveled to Boston for our BOOST 5 Demo Day and the broader #BostonBuiltWeek. This event was an incredible finale to an exciting 8-week BOOST accelerator program with this year's trailblazing cohort: Artic, Genia, Kroo, novl, and Tangible. John F. Fish opened Demo Day with inspiring remarks, reflecting on the vision that led to the program’s founding five years ago and highlighting the ongoing importance of innovation in the AECO industry. This set the stage for a thought-provoking fireside chat with William Schlacks, Co-founder and President of EquipmentShare, and Puneet Mahajan, CFO of Suffolk Construction, who shared insights into the future of the industry. Our BOOST 5 cohort then took the stage, presenting their built world solutions and accomplishments from the past eight weeks, including two new product launches and several paid pilot projects already underway! We were also thrilled to showcase pitches from four Suffolk Technologies portfolio companies: #Anodet, Ediphi, Exodigo, and Handle.com. Congratulations to Zhihao Zhao of Genia for winning the "People's Choice Award" through an audience vote, and to Joshua Weyand 🏗, who was recognized with our Team Member/"GOAT" of the Year Award. We also celebrated several of our outstanding Operating Partners, including Axiom Builders, Bouygues Construction, CENTURY DRYWALL, INC., Simpson Strong-Tie, and Weyerhaeuser. The week was packed with even more highlights, including Suffolk Technologies' inaugural founder summit, Matt Knight's Foundation for Innovation in Real Estate event, and, of course, BuiltWorlds Venture East conference. Thank you to everyone who made this event a success, and a huge congratulations to our BOOST 5 cohort on all you've accomplished. If you’re interested in getting involved with BOOST next year, we’d love to hear from you!
