  • What a surprise to start off 2025... We loved writing an article for GRAPHICS PRO Magazine's January issue about our artful 3500+ square foot #mural and #garage graphics project at 110 East Blvd - Charlotte with Stiles. #parkinggarage graphics are so important and really add value to your property. We had such a fun time working on this project as well as writing about it. Check out the article below! A big thank you to Tech Painting Co Inc for bringing this project to life for us. Follow #studio618 so you never miss a post!

  • Working out in STYLE! 😎 Megan Kranzler from Olive Ridley Studios has designed for us some amazing branded patterns to be used on branded apparel to wear to the gym and casual attire for conferences and marketing events. We love the amazing mock-ups that she made for us that show examples of how the branded assets can be applied to gym clothes and casual attire. FYI, there are even more amazing patterns but this just gives you a little teaser of what is in store... These clothes and branded assets are great for three reasons: 1.) They represent our #brand and #experientialdesign consultancy in a unique way 2.) They are a great conversation starter 3.) They are just plain AWESOME (that complex branded pattern is 🔥 ) We are looking forward to wearing these clothes at the ISA #signage and #wayfinding expo in April as well as other local marketing events that we are excited to share details about soon. Make sure that you follow #studio618 so you never miss a post!

  • Weaving and #experientialdesign rolled into one! At Studio 618, our AWESOME client asked us to design a custom fiber #art focal wall for the lobby of their #multifamily project called Spinning Mill Lofts. Studio 618 took the property's #logo designed by Yellow Duck Marketing and had a custom loom built out of aluminum to house the art piece. Dimensional aluminum letters with stand-offs displaying the property's name hang right next to this art piece on the wall in the beautiful refurbished lobby and building designed by Emily Hiott, RID, NCIDQ and her SouthPark Interiors team. Special shout out to SignArt for fabricating this loom for us and doing a great job with the install! We showed several sketches to the Taft Development Group to pick from and they chose the textures galore option with a more open ombre look to it. You will see throughout this weaving the incorporation of the colors used throughout the #interiordesign. All of the chords were hand knitted and braided by Lauren Stern and the custom weaving itself was created in our awesome little studio. There are some pretty cool materials within this piece: newspaper yarn, recycled T-shirts, silk, hand spun wool, vintage wooden textile spools, and many more. The textiles were sourced from artisans all over the world. All of this was inspired by the rich textile history within this building and property. This 100+ year old refurbished building that houses this #weaving was a working textile mill from 1901-1976 and was the inspiration for this piece. Shout out to Megan Morales for taking this cute photo and for capturing all of the #signage and #wayfinding elements that Studio 618 designed for this property. Make sure that you follow #studio618 so you never miss a post!

  • 📣 Website share!!! Did you know that our #experientialdesign consultancy's website has been relaunched? If you haven't checked it out yet, please go to "studio618design DOT com" when you get a chance (the link is in the comments section below and on our Studio 618 LinkedIn page). This website was a massive undertaking (hence why we have been showing it a little bit at a time)! It includes: A FAQs section, process information, services for the various types of #environmentalgraphics projects that we work on, press, case studies of our #signage and #wayfinding projects, lots of awesome #egd work, reviews from our awesome clients, and much, much more! Check out the long form page about our #childrensbook "Signs Have Much to Say" on the site as well. It is super cute and completely different looking than the rest of the website. Make sure to hover over all of the adorable characters to see them animate (the traffic circle is our favorite)! You can also find this special page at "signshavemuchtosay DOT com". Check out the video teaser below and click on the website link in the comment section to see our site in action. Looking forward to sharing more about this special site soon and all of the fun additional pages added. Enjoy perusing, everyone and make sure that you follow #studio618 so you never miss a post!

  • What a fun event with Jan Ringeling, ALC and the Moody Group team yesterday! We loved working with them on their reception and conference room graphics at #studio618. Their office is always full of tasty treats and this party did not disappoint. We also loved how Jan matched her décor in her office too (we are of similar minds). 🥰 Thank you so much for inviting us, Jan!!!
