In December, we announced the rollout of our Savings Station kiosks across our stores, making it easier than ever for our shoppers to save. We are well on our way to installing the coupon kiosks and are anticipated to have the Savings Station in all 350+ Stop & Shop stores by the end of this month! The Savings Station allows shoppers to quickly activate digital coupons and personalized offers without needing a smartphone or internet access. It’s designed to ensure that every customer, especially those who may not be tech-savvy, has access to the same savings. Simply scan your GO Rewards loyalty card or enter your phone number to load your deals – and watch the savings automatically apply at checkout. The Savings Station also offers recipe ideas and fun activities for kids while you shop! This investment reflects our commitment to removing friction and improving the shopping experience. We’re always listening to our customers, and this is just one of the ways we’re making shopping easier and more rewarding for everyone. As we approach the end of 2024, we're proud to share some exciting milestones in our ongoing commitment to enhancing the customer experience at Stop & Shop. We continue to invest in the communities we serve, including with our: 📍 Acton, Massachusetts Grand Opening 📍 Natick, Massachusetts Grand Reopening We listened carefully to what our neighbors wanted, from the products we sell to our environmental impact, and delivering more value in their baskets. Both the #Acton and #Natick locations offer lowered everyday pricing on thousands of items, including national and private label products, as part of a pilot program aimed at delivering more value to our customers. This initiative is part of our broader, multi-year strategy to provide a better shopping experience and greater savings. In addition to lower prices, both stores feature: 🥪 New delis with grab-and-go sandwiches 🍓 25% larger produce departments 🦐 Service counters for fresh seafood 🍕 New prepared foods sections including flatbread pizza stations, hot bars for chicken wings, and in-store sushi made fresh daily 🍰 Expanded assortments in the Bakery, Dairy, and Frozen Foods departments As part of our commitment to sustainability, we’ve also converted all cooking, HVAC, and mechanical equipment in both stores from natural gas to electric, reducing greenhouse gases and carbon emissions. A big thank you to our dedicated associates for their hard work in bringing these updated stores to life to deliver a great shopping experience every day. We are proud of how we’re showing up for our communities, and we look forward to continuing to serve you as your trusted local grocer!

Last weekend, our teams had the privilege of participating in multiple Wreaths Across America events, joining together to lay wreaths at local cemeteries to remember the fallen and reflect on their sacrifices. We are proud of our associates who volunteered their time toward this meaningful cause. Here’s a glimpse of our teams in action, showing respect and gratitude for our fallen soldiers. #WreathsAcrossAmerica #HonoringOurHeroes

Our associates are spreading holiday cheer across our footprint! In Long Island, more than 400 Stop & Shop Store Managers and associates provided holiday gifts to 50 Long Island families as part of Family & Children's Association Association’s annual Adopt-a-Family program. In New Jersey, over 300 of our Store Managers and associates provided holiday gifts to 40 Monmouth County families as part of Family & Children's Service (FCS)'s annual Operation Sleighbells program. Through both programs, Stop & Shop associates ‘adopt’ local families and each personally fund the donation of warm coats, hats, gloves, toys, and infant necessities for families who may be struggling during the holiday season. Stop & Shop stores also give gift cards to parents, allowing them to provide other holiday necessities for their children.

Our associates jumped in to lend a helping hand by volunteering at the Regional Food Bank of Hudson Valley, sorting products and packaging them to be delivered to local food pantries across the Hudson Valley. Stop & Shop also proudly donated a check for $100,000 to the Food Bank to use towards their Just In Time Delivery Program, which delivers perishable food to food pantries ‘just in time’ for them to open, overcoming pantries’ barriers of inadequate transportation and storage capacity for such items. The program aims to boost the nutritional content of what people receive at food pantries; by increasing access to fresh fruit, vegetables, and dairy for Hudson Valley neighbors in need. This is how we feed it forward, together!

This week, our Stop & Shop stores across Westchester delivered over 1,500 stuffed animals and toys to eight-year-old cancer survivor and previous Stop & Shop Help Cure Childhood Cancer ambassador, Cassidy Kline. Cassidy’s Charity, Cuddles from Cassidy, will present the stuffed animals and toys to the Ronald McDonald House Charities and local hospitals to donate to pediatric cancer patients across Westchester and the New York City metropolitan area, including Memorial Sloan Kettering Cancer Center. Our store associates across Westchester and parts of NYC have supported Cuddles from Cassidy since 2021, proudly donating a total of over 19,000 toys and stuffed animals for pediatric cancer patients in the area over the years. Way to go, team!
