#FlashbackFriday to August, 2021 when Jersey Panel faced a complex #design and compressed construction schedule at Kean University in Union, NJ. The project involved the #engineering, fabrication and installation of 65,000 sq.ft. using a combination of StoPanel Classic ci and StoPanel Brick ci fully finished wall panels. Jersey Panel sought to be faithful to the design – which initially included metal panels - while achieving cost savings. They replaced the metal panels with StoPanel Classic ci panels featuring Stolit Milano, creating a metal panel aesthetic that thrilled the client and saved nearly $800,000. Panels were installed in about five weeks, cutting months off from on-site #construction time. Findings in a recent U.S. Green Building Council report, “State of #Decarbonization: Progress in U.S. Commercial #Buildings 2023,” show absolute commercial-building emissions in the U.S. have decreased to 1990 levels, in spite of a 55% increase in commercial floor area since then - via retrofit.
