As an early recipient of funding from MacKenzie Scott (who has given over $19 billion to good causes in the last five years) we know the difference gifts like these can make!   In 2022 we were grateful to receive an incredibly generous gift of $20 million from the philanthropist. What would enable a young person with disabilities to become the next leader? In our recent interview with Diane Kingston OBE, she flipped the script on disability inclusion and spoke about enablers rather than barriers to inclusion. Diane shared the findings from research with Sightsavers which found that enablers to leadership could be as simple as having a mentor or a supportive partner. We are happy to share a MAJOR MILESTONE: Our national program with Sightsavers to screen truck drivers in India has officially screened 1 MILLION drivers!      Good vision is crucial to road safety. Poor eyesight can lead to slower reaction times, missed signs and accidents – putting everyone on the road at risk.     Providing 1 million truck drivers in India with proper vision care is a significant step toward enhancing road safety for all. We remain steadfast in our mission to raise awareness, provide corrective lenses to those in need and improve access for everyone — including the trucker community as proper vision care is a major step towards safer roads.
