Mission For Vision (MFV) is a leading not-for-profit organisation working since 2000 towards the eradication of avoidable blindness. MFV has acted as a catalyst by strengthening several institutions towards excellence through equitable services and enabled over 2.2 million eye surgeries until date. VALUES: MFV’s values are centred around quality of care, cost efficiency, sustainability and service for all. PHILOSOPHY: Caring Capitalism “While capitalism focuses mailing on making money, Caring Capitalism focuses on how one can use a portion of that for the benefit of society. As caring capitalists, we have a responsibility beyond ourselves to care for the social and environmental surroundings of our businesses. Thank you SBI General Insurance for making eye care accessible for communities residing in remote corners of Meghalaya, India. It is heartening to see that we are placing the comfort and convenience of the patients at the centre and front. Through this vehicle, eye care has been made easily accessible and no one has to grapple with transportation issues, especially in the hilly terrains of Meghalaya. We would also like to express our gratitude to Society for the Promotion of Eye care and Sight (SPECS) for their continued support, helping us enable quality eye care services to those in need across the region.
SBI General Insurance’s initiative in Meghalaya is lighting up lives by restoring vision and bringing hope to countless individuals. With access to quality eye care and treatment, this mission is transforming communities, one vision at a time! Mission for Vision #SBIGeneralInsurance

Driven by a shared commitment towards inclusive eye care and in conjunction with the 2024 International Day of Persons with Disabilities, Mission for Vision, Ummeed Foundation, and Walk n Wheels Foundation collaboratively organised a comprehensive eye health camp at Ummeed - The Hope School in Mumbra, Thane. This initiative addressed the eye care needs of 100+ children with disabilities, many of whom come from marginalised and underserved communities. The services were provided at no cost to these children. Mission for Vision's team of optometrists conducted these eye screenings, including vision tests to detect refractive errors or other issues. Children requiring specialised care were referred to partner hospitals, while those needing corrective measures received spectacles at no cost. The event highlighted the importance of inclusive healthcare, providing better vision and improved opportunities for children with disabilities. #InclusionMatters #EyeCareForAll #BreakingBarriers #IDPD Khushi Ganatra Shrikant Ayyangar Gaurangi Kolzarkar Ms. Rutul Shah Mrinal Gole Debashis Maiti
