Yesterday, we marked a major milestone with our project partners at the topping off of Harvard University's 100 South Campus Drive—a 14-story residential building that’s part of the dynamic transformation at 175 North Harvard Street. Designed to achieve both Passive House and Living Building Challenge certifications, the #ShawmutBuilt building will deliver 276 residential units and public-facing amenities. Located next to the future home of the American Repertory Theater, these two buildings will create a sustainable, vibrant hub for the Harvard and Allston communities. The #ShawmutBuilt renovation of The Benjamin Royal Sonesta New York was featured in Forbes, applauded for maintaining its classic identity while providing guests with residential-style rooms that feel large and airy while steeped in elegance and history.
