Sanam is a highly skilled senior therapist at Sentient who works well with professionals and college students managing symptoms of anxiety, depression, OCD, perfectionism, and relationship issues. Additionally, as a Gottman-trained couples therapist, Sanam helps straight and LGBTQIA+ couples address communication and sexual issues, increase intimacy and respect, manage work, household and childcare challenges, and work through the pain of infidelity. Sanam is currently accepting new clients - but open slots won't be available for long! Welcome back Sanam!

Congrats to our founder, Joy Ripplinger (she-they) LMHC, on completing her post-graduate certificate in Ketamine-Assisted Psychotherapy (KAP) with Fluence in New York City! She is currently in the MAPS Education Program in MDMA-Assisted Therapy for licensed clinicians. Joy enjoys working with executives, supervisors, managers, and team leaders who benefit from developing the relational skills and psychoeducation necessary to handle stressful careers, engage with many different types of personalities, and enrich their work and personal environments. Using a harm-reduction framework, she also provides psychedelic preparation and integration therapy for folks who may be exploring the personal use of psychedelics as a healing or spiritual modality.

Congratulations to Toni Harper Farrar (they/them) for their recent promotion to Senior Therapist at Sentient! Harper recently completed their licensing exam and qualifying hours to become a Licensed Mental Health Counselor (LMHC) in New York State! Harper works well with professionals and college students managing symptoms of anxiety, depression, OCD, perfectionism, and relationship issues. They also provide relationship therapy to straight and queer couples. As a queer-identified therapist, Harper specializes with LGBTQIA+ folks coping with poor body image, low self-esteem, and issues related to sexuality, who’ve perhaps struggled to find affirming and non-pathologizing therapists who can identify with their unique experiences.
