🌟 Meet the Team 🌟 - Mark Jakubowski Mark originally joined Scanco as a support technician but soon transitioned to the implementation side of the business, focusing on new client onboarding and assisting current clients with Sage upgrades. As he's grown with Scanco, Mark has added Sage 100 Support Team lead to his title, assisting internal teams, partners, and clients in guiding support tickets to resolution. One of his favorite aspects of working at Scanco is an ongoing interaction with both customers and partners. "Being a people person, it's always a good day when I get the opportunity to assist someone, either on a support ticket or on a large-scale or ongoing upgrade project." What are your favorite hobbies and passions? "I’m a sports guy through and through.  Nothing better than football on the weekends (did I mention 'Go Bills!?'). I enjoy fishing, shore fishing from a beach, on a boat, or freshwater angling for bass or crappie." Who is your favorite musical artist?  "Like most people, I dabble in so many genres that I couldn’t pinpoint a favorite, but I’m still a 90s guy. Love me some Goo Goo Dolls...hey, there's my Buffalo loyalty shining through again!" What is your favorite movie/book? "I LOVE the movie Elf, which makes it fitting that I’m your December profile topic! As for favorite book I gravitate towards the government spy genre, most notably James Patterson and John Grisham." What is your favorite food? "I’m a big fan of Asian food, including sushi and pho." Favorite destination you have visited? "My favorite place has been Germany, specifically Bonn and Cologne. I enjoy immersing myself in different cultures." #Scanco #EmployeeSpotlight

🌟 Meet the Team 🌟 - Greg Wereb Greg Wereb joined Scanco in December 2023 following its acquisition of DonorPoint, an online platform for nonprofit fundraising and volunteer engagement. Formerly in marketing and sales at DonorPoint, Greg now supports marketing efforts for both DonorPoint and Scanco, contributing to blogs, sales materials, and digital campaigns. With nearly 30 years of experience across tech, nonprofits, and advertising, Greg combines branding, writing, research, and analytics to deliver impactful solutions. He values Scanco's entrepreneurial culture, which enables him to apply his expertise and make a difference. Who is your favorite hobbies and passions? "Music is my all-consuming passion. Whether it's reading about it, watching it, or playing it (I've been drumming since I was ten and have moonlighted playing in area cover/original bands for the last 25 years), it is my happiest place. I also like to play tennis, walk, and bicycle!" Who is your favorite musical artist?  "A very difficult question to answer, as I enjoy just about every genre. A smattering of my favorite bands: Living Colour, Cheap Trick, The Pretenders, Gin Blossoms, INXS, Duran Duran, Maneskin. And, of course, no list would be complete without The Beatles." What is your favorite movie/book? "I'm quite possibly the biggest Cheers fan in the world, but I finally relented a couple of years ago, stating The Office is the Greatest Sitcom of All Time. My favorite books are Lord of The Flies by William Golding and Moon: The Life of a Rock Legend by Tony Fletcher." What is your favorite food? "Sashimi, followed closely by seafood in general (especially scallops) and BBQ." Favorite destination you have visited? "I haven't been much of a world traveler; the only stamps on my passport are Canada, Mexico, and the Dominican Republic...and they're so close I don't even consider myself ever having left America.
