In December 2024, Samaritan's Purse... -Continued our work in western North Carolina to help suffering families get back on their feet after Hurricane Helene. -Welcomed Vice-President-elect JD Vance to Asheville, NC. to witness firsthand the work our volunteers were doing daily to bring the hope and comfort of Jesus Christ to suffering families. -Sent an Emergency Field Hospital to Sudan to alleviate the local, strained healthcare system and to offer desperately needed relief for families suffering in the midst of civil conflict. In November 2024 Samaritan's Purse... -Sent a DART team to Valencia, Spain in response to devastating floods. -Responded in Oklahoma City, OK in the aftermath of tornadoes that left significant damage in it's wake. -Delivered Thanksgiving meals to Hurricane Helene victims in western North Carolina. -Completed over 350 emergency airlifts for the delivery of essential supplies after Hurricane Helene. -Announced home rebuild projects in western North Carolina in the aftermath of Hurricane Helene. 🗓️ 2024 Recap: September As we remember month by month all that God did in 2024, September holds a special place of gratitude and praise in our hearts. With the back to back impact of Hurricane Helene and Hurricane Milton, the Lord provided overwhelming support from volunteers and staff. He equipped us to serve the East Coast and our own local community on an unprecedented scale while continuing to sustain our international ministries in El Salvador, Vietnam, the Middle East, and more. In September 2024, Samaritan's Purse... -Launched an emergency Hurricane Helene response in our own backyard and began serving our neighbors, staff, and local community. Our location in the heart of western North Carolina provided a unique opportunity for us to quickly begin meeting needs for thousands of impacted families. -Deployed World Medical Mission's first ever dental team to serve more than 300 patients alongside our partner mission hospital, Shalom Family Medical Center, in El Salvador. -Airlifted 3,000 supply kits using our DC-8 aircraft to Vietnam to care for those devastated by Typhoon Yagi. -Built and Dedicated 14 new homes in Jackson, Kentucky to homeowners who lost everything during 2022 floods. 🔗⛪ If you feel moved to help us continue our work in 2025, we invite you to pray over the coming year and consider making an end of year gift at https://sampur.se/4fwTcDP

We are overwhelmed with gratitude and praise for the ways he has equipped us to serve those in need in Jesus' Name. In August 2024, Samaritan's Purse... -Brought comfort and relief to families impacted by Hurricane Debby in Savannah, Georgia and Sarasota, Florida. -Commissioned a new cohort of World Medical Mission Post Residents and equipped medical professionals for missions through hosting our annual Prescription For Renewal Conference. -Handed over the Emergency Field Hospital used during Hurricane Beryl to the Ministry of Health in Grenada.
