We are honored to share that Saint Peter's University Hospital has received a $4 million state appropriation from Assemblyman Joe Danielson, State Senator Bob Smith, and Assemblyman Joe Egan of District 17 to support our mission to provide accessible, high-quality pediatric care. This funding will help us embark on a multimillion project to enhance the perioperative, pre-operative, and recovery areas and create a separate area dedicated to children. “We’re one of the busiest children’s hospitals in the state and this will be an additional project on top of last year, when we got a $10 million appropriation, and we’re going to be building a new pediatric intensive care unit," said Leslie D. Hirsch, FACHE, president and CEO of Saint Peter's Healthcare System. We offer our sincere thanks to District 17 for helping us provide the highest level of care to the youngest members of our community.
