This milestone wouldn't be possible without the dedication and collaboration of our contracting partners. Congratulations to all who have helped bring this development to life!
"This project is a catalyst for community-focused urban living," Taal Safdie, Safdie Rabines Architects. "It integrates green spaces with dynamic retail opportunities to create a vibrant hub of connection." Turner Construction Company and our partners recently marked a key milestone in the $345 million 222 North City project in San Marcos, California. This mixed-use development will include 463 residential units, retail spaces, and underground parking, driving urban growth in the area. Thank you to everyone contributing to this transformative project—your dedication is shaping the future of this community. #UrbanDevelopment #ConstructionExcellence #Collaboration

Recently, SRA led students from ARCH@UCSD on a tour of Scripps Seaside Forum, a conference center at UC San Diego's Scripps Institution of Oceanography campus. Steps from the beach and nestled between palm trees, this project was developed as a space for scientists to come together and share their research. In addition, the Forum is popular with the public for its rooftop restaurant and an auditorium that opens to create indoor-outdoor event space with beach access (a feature that has made the Forum one of San Diego’s top wedding venues). During this tour, students were curious about the challenges of designing in a coastal environment. Together, our group explored how this project’s village-like, porous layout considers the site’s oceanfront location, and how SRA’s design provides for many uses and panoramic views of the Pacific. #SanDiegoWeddings #CoastalArchitecture #LaJolla #UCSD

Following completion last year, the Omaha RiverFront Revitalization continues to be nationally recognized for improving 72 acres of parkland along the Missouri River. Most recently, this project received an Excellence in Sustainability award via Engineering News-Record. SRA is grateful to have been involved in designing the iconic Farnam Pier, which invites visitors to experience the river environment up close. Congratulations to the project team!
