Development. Engineering. Construction.
About us
In 1979, Jesse Ross founded J. Ross Acoustics and Drywall, a small contracting company specializing in carpentry and interior finishes. His hard work and 16 years of experience as a carpenter quickly earned the company a reputation for quality work and professional excellence. As the firm evolved, it established an identity as a leader in facilities construction. In 1996, Warren Ross joined his father and The Ross Group Construction Corporation was incorporated in the great state of Oklahoma. Building on one another’s strengths, Jesse and Warren took their knowledge and reputation and made a seamless transition into general contracting. Over the last 40 years, a lot has changed. We've expanded to include a focus on development, engineering, and industrial construction. But even though we've grown to more than 150 employees in four offices, our privately owned and operated company has never strayed from commitment to quality, safety, customer satisfaction, and the local community.

Continuing in our 2024 wrap-up, we want to highlight the Law Enforcement Training Center (LETC) Classroom Complex that was completed in October. This project designed and constructed a new classroom complex and parking lot at the VA campus in North Little Rock, AR. The two-story facility contains a combination of classrooms and auditoriums with the capability to instruct more than 300 students at once.

Next in our 2024 wrap-up is the Restore Building Systems in the Applied Instruction Survival and Training Facility project in Jacksonville, FL. This ongoing project is upgrading or replacing systems throughout the entire building. This includes the ventilation system, fire suppression system, and pool building controls. The team is also installing a dehumidification unit to maintain pool water temperature, pool room temperature, and humidity levels in pool area. Multiple areas are being renovated to improve overall training functionality.

Next up in our 2024 wrap-up is the Capital Security Program and Courts Construction at the US Courthouse in Alexandria, LA. Ross Group is currently renovating the 48,400 sq. ft. U.S. Courthouse to improve the security and the efficiency of court operations. Originally built in 1933, this courthouse is on the National Register of Historic Places and includes the District Court, U.S. Probation office, and the U.S. Marshals Service. As part of this project, we are also providing a 11,937 sq. ft. addition and repurposing an existing, unoccupied post office in the original building.

12 million travelers—that's the record-setting number of folks who passed through TSA during Thanksgiving 2024, according to the FAA. Even more surprising? Only about 1.2% of flights were delayed. How is that possible? One key factor: well-constructed airfields. Explore what makes an airfield truly exceptional in this article from your friends at Ross Group. https://lnkd.in/g8ABfzq8

As we continue with our 2024 wrap up, we want to highlight our industrial team's Repair Government Service Station project at Naval Base Coronado, CA. This ongoing project will support troops on base by replacing outdated service station building, fuel dispensers, a dispenser island, and a diesel tank.
