About us
Since 2008, RedLine Contemporary Art Center has been fostering education and engagement between artists and communities, to create positive social change. Located in Denver, Colorado's historic Five Points neighborhood, RedLine supports emerging artists and provides creative opportunities for local residents. RedLine serves as an incubator and point of connection for a thriving group of resident artists, through an in-depth, 2-year residency program that includes free studio space, community engagement opportunities, and professional development. We offer a range of programming that responds to the needs of the varied communities that live in the surrounding neighborhoods. Viewing art and arts education through a lens of social issues, RedLine ensures equitable access to the arts for under-resourced populations, by working to fulfill a vision of empowering everyone to create social change through art.

I was honored to be a part of the Diverse Talent's C-Suite Access event, held 17 Oct 2024 at RedLine Contemporary Art Center. As the panel moderator I facilitated a rich discussion with Pauline Marie Herrera, MNM, CFRE, CESG, Kanitha Snow, and John-Claude Futrell about crucial role that artists always have in healthy, economically viable, and socially relevant cultures. Critical takeaways emphasized the criticality of continuous collaboration and leveraging resources from all elements of society, i.e., corporate and small businesses, non-profit organizations, government, individuals, etc., are to help artists be self-sustaining entrepreneurs, enabling a thriving Colorado ecosystem.
