Excited to announce that I will be speaking at #ITCVegas, the world's largest insurtech conference, with Rodney Mattos, Sr, CEO of Triforta Partners and Alexis Cierra Vaughn, CEO of Off Course Learning. We'll launch Pyq AI (YC W23)'s latest solution, discuss the success and results Triforta has already seen with it, and explore the evolving relationship between traditional brokers and innovative insurtech companies more generally. If you're going to be at ITC, please swing by and say hello! Link to the event in the comments.

"I would love to use AI at my insurance agency but I'm concerned about data security. What should I do?" We hear this (very valid) question from prospects and figured we'd write a quick cheat-sheet of options for them to ask of any software vendor - link in the comments. TL;DR: 1. Your options are to ask for an on-prem deployment, VPC or a secure multi-tenant setup. Each one has pros and cons. 2. Not all software vendors (especially AI ones) offer all options, for good reason. 3. SOC2 etc are useful indicators, but they're basically just security checklists. True security is much harder to gauge At Pyq AI (YC W23), we offer all three deployment options to clients, are SOC2 Type II (and HIPAA upon request) compliant and go through frequent vulnerability assessments and pen testing.

Insurance brokers spend almost 25% of their time dealing with paperwork instead of selling, and Pyq AI (YC W23) is helping them fix that. Here's a demo of one of our most popular solutions: policy comparison. Producers spend hours every week reading through quotes and policies in order to find the best fit for their clients. These documents are hundreds of pages long, densely packed with information and difficult to compare. This is also not a problem that they can simply ChatGPT their way through, as detailed in our recent post titled "LLMs and the Harry Potter Problem" (link to it in the comments). We talked to hundreds of producers, analyzed innumerable policies and built a solution that combines state-of-the-art AI with a simple interface that, as one of our customers describes it, "is something we've always wanted." This solution and others are already live within agencies, boosting their productivity every day. Over the next few weeks we will be sharing customer stories about how this solution and others have helped brokerages boost productivity, increase their time in the market and save on margins. If this solution is of interest, please reach out via DM or book a demo via our website (link in the comments). #Insurance #AI #brokers

We spoke with Chris Bakke (who also happens to make great memes) recently about vertical AI, some of its applications and why industries with a lot of paper-pushing should take notice. And with our focus on helping #insurance brokerages automate repetitive documentation-related tasks, these words could not be more timely! We'll be releasing more excerpts from our conversations with Chris and others over the coming weeks. Hope this is helpful for all. If you run or work at an insurance agency and want to automate repetitive documentation work, please reach out via DM!

As our last feature of pyq's drop week, I am excited to announce we now support embedding with Instructor XL and querying with Anthropic's Claude! Instructor XL is a powerful model that can result in significant performance gains, and Claude's large context window can greatly benefit more complex documents. Organizing tons of documents into folders is annoying and no one does it properly anyway. We hear this all the time and *gulp* are even guilty of slacking on this front ourselves. And it turns out that RAG solutions suffer from the same problem - improperly chunked and indexed documents inevitably lead to bad results. On Day 4 of Pyq AI (YC W23) Drop Week, we're excited to release our new Auto Indexer feature, which automatically organizes your documents. Organizations can now spend their time actually gleaning information from their documents rather than figuring out which folder "user_manual_v45.docx" lives in. Check out our blog post (link in the comments) for more details, and follow along as we release more features this week! #documentmanagement #documentation

Online product comparisons are frustrating. As part of our drop week, we are releasing our AI comparisons tool, which can make referencing and comparing information from many sources a breeze. Companies can use this to build sales co-pilots, great comparison tables, sales battlecards and more, using just a couple of API calls. For example, dozens of companies said they would gladly use our AI #insurance policy comparison too over existing insurance solutions. It can answer questions like "Which policy offers the best travel coverage?" which is what customers actually want to know. If you want to build a great experience for your customers with this tool, DM me! And take a look at our blog post below for an in-depth guide. https://lnkd.in/gscjaF2w

How do you add AI to an existing workflow? A question we're often asked by developers and industry leaders alike. On day 2 of our Drop Week, Pyq AI (YC W23) makes it easy to do so with just a few lines of code. Initium, our RAG-powered AI document intelligence solution, can now output structured JSON so you can integrate it seamlessly into your codebase. For example, you can use it to search a potential customer's website, output a parsable list of all of its key decision makers’ names and titles, and automatically save that information to your CRM using just a couple of simple API calls. If this is of interest to you, drop me a message. And check out our blog post (https://lnkd.in/dhxK_CrZ) for a code example, as well as to follow along as we continue to release more functionality this week!
