About us
Pvilion designs, engineers, manufactures, and installs flexible solar powered fabric structures. Our products range from stand-alone solar canopies, solar military tents, grid-tied long span structures, solar powered charging stations to solar powered curtains, building facades, backpacks and clothing. What we do is simple in theory – we integrate solar cells with fabric, and we build fabric products that generate electricity. We believe that any surface that receivs sunlight is an opportunity to generate electricity. Our mission at Pvilion is to make clean energy available in any setting – with a focus on quality, appearance, and flexibility.

Today is the 1 year anniversary of the grand opening of our Industry City headquarters and manufacturing facility! It's hard to believe it's been a whole year in our new space, but what a year it's been! Thanks to the community members that came out and the warm welcome we received from Brooklyn Chamber of Commerce, the ribbon cutting ceremony marked an amazing start to this new chapter.

In last week's newsletter we shared images of our recent installation on an aircraft hangar in Germany. Rain or shine, our technology is designed to be waterproof, fire-retardant, UV-resistant, and durable enough to withstand extreme wind loads and weather conditions. It can be added to existing structures like this one.

KBLA has enjoyed working for We Stay Nos Quedamos Inc, La Finca del Sur & Sunshine Community Gardens, Pvilion and Severn Clay-Youman of Civic Architecture Workshop, grant funder NY State, and the lovely NYC Green Thumb. Happy to have just received Public Design Commission approval, and we are all looking forward to the built project.
