We were honored to have Dr. Marie Ruel, Senior Research Fellow at IFPRI, present “Double-Duty Nutrition Actions: Reshaping Programs and Policies to Address Malnutrition in all its Forms” as our annual Kirksey Lecture. Dr. Ruel joined faculty, staff, graduate students, and alumni afterwards for a luncheon. Dr. Avanelle Kirksey, a valued faculty member of the Department of Nutrition Science from 1961-1994, left a legacy at Purdue University. Her groundbreaking research, teaching, and community outreach efforts are honored with this lecture series.
