The Final Stretch - Recognizing Burnout! The last few months of the year can feel like a sprint to the finish line. Deadlines - Budgets - Quotas - Holiday parties - Family For many, it’s not just “holiday stress.” It’s exhaustion. It’s burnout. You feel constantly tired but can’t seem to rest. You’re irritable, short-tempered, or overwhelmed by small tasks. You feel detached, uninspired, or stuck in autopilot mode. And when you’re pushing to meet expectations, it’s easy to ignore how you have been feeling. Here are a few reminders: Pause: Take a moment to breathe and acknowledge how you’re feeling. Prioritize: Focus on what truly needs your attention. Not everything is urgent. Protect your energy: Set boundaries where you need them Ask for help: Whether it’s leaning on colleagues, friends, or resources, you’re not alone. Project55 we understand that Mental health is a year-round journey, and as we close out 2024, let’s give ourselves permission to slow down and finish strong - on our own terms. Let’s keep the conversation going. 💬 Justin Goodman, Andrew Katz, Heather Ceccacci, Brenden Corr #MentalHealthAwareness #EndOfYearBurnout #Project55 #YouAreNotAlone #InsuranceCommunity

Thank you David R. Carothers, for taking the time to have Justin Goodman & Brenden Corr on your podcast to discuss the Project55 initiative. 🌟 Breaking the Silence: Mental Health in the Insurance Industry 🌟 In the hardest insurance market many of us have ever seen, the pressures we face as professionals are at an all-time high. The toll this can take on mental health is undeniable—and yet, it’s a conversation that too often goes unspoken in our industry. That’s why I’m excited to share this week’s Power Producers Podcast episode, featuring Brenden Corr and Justin Goodman who are leading the charge to bring awareness, resources, and community to professionals in need through Project55. We dove into the unique mental health challenges facing the insurance industry, including how stress, isolation, and stigma can lead to issues like depression, anxiety, and burnout. But more importantly, we discussed solutions: ✔️ The launch of Project 55, a nonprofit initiative designed to provide free resources and training for industry professionals. ✔️ The development of a Mental Health First Responder Training Program to equip employees to support one another. ✔️ How community and open conversations can break down barriers and reduce stigma around mental health. In this episode, we talk about why now, more than ever, mental health awareness needs to be a priority for leaders, employees, and organizations. Whether you’re navigating the challenges of remote work, production pressures, or personal struggles, this is a must-listen. 📅 The full episode drops this Wednesday on all major podcast platforms but is already published in the Killing Commercial Insurance Sales Training YouTube channel. 🎧 Make time to listen—it might just change how you approach mental health for yourself and your team. Let’s work together to build a healthier, more supportive industry. 🌍 #MentalHealthAwareness #InsuranceIndustry #Project55 #PowerProducersPodcast #BreakingTheSilence

"Our anxious thoughts are really just expressions of our values" 🤯 In this quick clip of the Project55 Podcast our expert guest, Lindsey Carnick, Therapist describes how so much of our anxiety is fueled by our worry that we arent living up to our values. Many of us struggle with worrying about client interactions and ensuring they are always happy. So if we are able to use our values to help us navigate our experiences we can approach different scenarios or conversations with a completely different mindset that empowers us. PS The Project 55 Podcast is now available on ITunes, Amazon, or wherever you prefer to listen. Justin Goodman, Brenden Corr, Heather Ceccacci, Andrew Katz, CLCS

Do you Journal?! Journaling is such a powerful practice. It's a space where your thoughts, fears, and dreams can exist without judgment - a tool that can transform your perspective, boost self-awareness, and provide clarity during challenging times. Whether you're tackling tough moments at work, navigating personal challenges, or celebrating small victories, journaling helps you take control of your narrative. What’s on your mind today? What’s one thing you’re grateful for? What’s something you’d like to let go of? At Project 55, we believe mental health is an everyday conversation, and journaling is one of many ways to keep that dialogue open - with yourself. Thanksgiving is a wonderful time - it gives us a chance to pause, reflect and be grateful for what we do have. Here are five new and different questions/concepts/ideas and I'd challenge you to think about them over the next few days and even as we close out the year. 1️⃣ What is the best thing about you? - What makes you unique? Maybe it's your humor, resilience, or how you always show up for others. 2️⃣ What has really gone well in your life so far? - Life is and can be chaotic. What are some wins, big or small, that have shaped your journey? 3️⃣ What is one thing you wish people knew about you? - This one is hard, but, what would you share if you could? 4️⃣ What are the next five years of your life going to look like? - Lets use these next few days to also look forward. How will you grow? What seeds are you planting today? 5️⃣ What would you do if you weren’t afraid? - What’s one bold move you’d make if you set it aside? If you are comfortable, would love to hear from some of you....but, if nothing else, I hope these reflections spark conversations at your table or within your own heart. Have a lovely and blessed holiday. Be sure to checkin with all of those around you. 💚 Project 55 team Justin Goodman, Brenden Corr, Andrew Katz, Heather Ceccacci,

Yesterday I saw a post from Skylar Romines about the benefits of going for a quick walk during the day if things are getting a bit sideways. So, just leaving this simple graphic here as a reminder for heading into the weekend and how to take care of ourselves. How does walking help you? Clear you head? Improve your Mood? Re-gain Focus? Improved Creativity? Justin Goodman, Heather Ceccacci, Brenden Corr, Andrew Katz,

It’s OK to Ask for Help... In a world that often celebrates self-reliance, we forget one simple truth: asking for help isn’t a weakness—it’s strength. At Project 55, we’re creating a safe space where vulnerability is valued, questions are welcomed, and support is always within reach. Whether you’re navigating stress at work, mental health struggles, or just looking for a community that gets it, you’re not alone. Together, we educate. Together, we equip. Together, we empower. Let’s normalize the conversation around mental health and build a future where asking for help is seen as the ultimate act of courage.
