The world’s first one-stop portal dedicated to learning and knowledge-sharing in public procurement - www.procurementlearning.org – catalyzes professionalization of the function, networking and informed decision-making in this arena. Powered by the World Bank, this portal provides a gateway to learning programs that are affordable, credible and relevant. The Governance – Global Practice, World Bank has joined hands with the partner institutions of Charter for Public Procurement Studies to help learners gain an edge in public procurement. The Charter for Public Procurement Studies (CPPS) comprises leading public and private educational, training institutes and deemed universities such as AIM, AIMA, ASCI, CIRC, HLL Academy, IIMM, IRILMM, ISM, and SCDL, from South Asia. The learning programs on offer are: • Certificate Program in Public Procurement (CPPP) • Professional Diploma in Public Procurement (PDPP) • Certificate Program in Contract Management (CPCM) The Certificate Program in Public Procurement (CPPP) is the first ever, free procurement certificate delivered as Massive Open Online Course (MOOC). CPPP was launched recently during the Second South Asia Regional Procurement Conference at Islamabad, Pakistan. This program culminates in a Certification (CPPP / MOOC). The Professional Diploma in Public Procurement (PDPP) is a country specific, blended- e-learning, distance and face to face course. PDPP will be launched in India in August 2014. The program is designed to enable learners to understand and excel in the Indian Public procurement systems. Eventually, PDPP will reach learners in other South Asian countries to offer country specific courses. The Certificate Program in Contract Management (CPCM) has been designed to inculcate in-depth knowledge and understanding of post award Contract Management. Learners will get a thorough understanding of the Best Practices in Contract decisions. CPCM will be launched in September 2014.
