Ambitious goals include: 🚀 Increase enrollment and retention: Grow enrollment in Prizmah schools by 10,000 students. 💸Move the affordability needle: Ensure 80% of Prizmah schools implement one or more new tuition models and raise $400M in school endowments. 🌟Build a strong leadership pipeline: Increase the tenure of heads of school as well as those aspiring to the headship by 10%. Prizmah along with the Anti-Defamation League, American Jewish Committee (AJC), and Jewish Federations of North America express our deep concern and disappointment by the remarks and activity that normalized antisemitism at the National Association of Independent Schools People of Color Conference. Prizmah CEO, Paul Bernstein shared with Jewish Insider, “What we would like to see is a successful antisemitism-free environment where Jewish day schools can be part of the wider independent school market and be part of the Prizmah network in order for us to work and learn together,” Bernstein said, emphasizing the need to “strengthen the system” rather than leave the association altogether and “be in a position where Jews feel the only safe place is internal.” https://lnkd.in/eN4DTnM3

Last week, Prizmah’s Director of Enrollment Growth, Beth Rivkind and Tracy Newman from the PJ Library team visited DC, Baltimore, and Virginia to meet with current and former Engage schools. Engage offers participating schools cohort- learning, mentorship and grant opportunities designed to center Jewish community life around Jewish day schools with the goal of expanding recruitment, retention, and growing enrollment.
