TIP OF THE WEEK: It is the final week of 2024 – do you have a plan for 2025 to start your career off strong for the new year? If you haven’t already, now is the time to determine your goals for the next year to set yourself up for success. Evaluate where you are currently and use that to determine where you want to be by the end of 2025. Determine your goals and their priority. Determine the steps to get you to these goals and give yourself deadlines. Use your team and staff to help keep yourself accountable and to help you reach these goals. Re-evaluate where you are each quarter in relation to your deadlines and adjust or refocus if necessary. #goals #2025goals #yearlyplanner #growth #pivotgrowthpartners #pivotgrowth

Happy Holidays from all of us at Pivot Growth Partners! #holidaywishes #holidayseason

TIP OF THE WEEK: During the holidays you must be realistic about what you can and can’t do both personally and professionally. There are only 24 hours in the day so you must decide where you draw the line so you don’t over extend yourself and add to the stress of the holidays. Can the work project changes wait until after the holiday? Can someone else attend the work related holiday party in your place? Maybe offer to extend holiday sales pricing until after the holiday to avoid last minute rush orders. Ask if a team member wants to work the holiday hours. Some may not have holiday plans or family in town. It may be tempting to say yes to everything during the holidays but know that it is ok to say no without any explanation if you don't have the time or just don't want to.

TIP OF THE WEEK: During the stress and hectic pace of the holidays, don’t forget to take the time to recognize your staff and your team. A little recognition can go a long way to boost employee morale and motivation. A simple hand-written thank you note for their assistance or a public display of appreciation for a job well done can increase an employee’s mood and self-confidence as well. To maximize the effect, be sure to customize the message to each person or situation and be sure the message is thoughtful and sincere. #appreciation #recognition #boostmorale #thankyou #goodjob #pivotgrowthpartners #pivotgrowth

Do you struggle each day juggling all your responsibilities? Is it difficult some days to keep your mindset positive? Maybe gratitude is what’s missing in your personal and/or professional life? Here are 5 ways to incorporate gratitude into your life. 1 – Start with personal gratitude. Spend a few minutes at least once a day writing down something you are grateful for. This can help you see there are things going well even if the day seems overwhelming. 2 – Bring gratitude into your team culture. Celebrate wins, big or small. Recognizing your team helps build a sense of community and respect and a feeling of being appreciated. 3 – Practice gratitude in the face of challenges. Instead of focusing on the problems or what isn’t working, focus on how you can learn from what went wrong or what mistake you made. 4 – Build gratitude in your business strategy. Help other companies, support non-profits – show your customers and your community that you value supporting others. 5 – Reflect and celebrate progress. Make it a point to review your personal and team achievements throughout the year to acknowledge how far you have come in your gratitude journey. #gratitude #bethankful #pivotgrowthpartners #pivotgrowth From the Inc. article by Denise Woodard – “5 Simple Ways to Infuse Gratitude Into Your Life and Business”
