Last week, Dan Rodriguez and his team hosted a dinner for the families of the San Fernando Valley Rescue Mission. As hosts, they took on the responsibility of planning, shopping, and preparing more than 70 meals. Their dedication didn’t stop there—they also cooked, served, and managed the cleanup with care and enthusiasm. While the chance to serve so many deserving families was undoubtedly a highlight for everyone involved, it was the kitchen manager’s comment about their seamless teamwork that truly made everyone proud. Despite this being their first time serving meals on such a large scale, their efforts demonstrated a simple yet profound truth: extraordinary teams will always rise to the occasion, no matter the circumstances or environment they are in. Last month, PDS Health clinicians and team members participated in No-Shave November to bring greater awareness to men's health issues, including testicular, colorectal and prostate cancers. Many studies show that men who suffer from poor oral health can also develop problems with their mental health, making it easier for them to neglect other areas of their overall health. By raising awareness of this connection and addressing these issues through proper oral health care, we hope to provide men with greater ability to take charge of their whole-body health. Thank you to every clinician and team member who donned beards or mustaches (both real and fake) in support of this month-long cause! #NoShaveNovember
