About us

Orlando City SC joined Major League Soccer (MLS) as the league's 21st franchise in November 2013, becoming the first MLS team in the Southeast. The Lions began league play in March 2015, and in 2017, moved into its privately-owned downtown soccer stadium. In 2022, Orlando City SC re-launched OCB as a founding member of MLS NEXT Pro to bridge the gap between its successful youth development academy and the First Team.

MLS NEXT Fest 2024 Recap 🚨⚽️ Last week, our Orlando City SC Academy teams participated in the MLS NEXT Fest at Indio, California. 🌟 The world-class facilities set the stage for an intense week of high-level competition, where our U15, U16, and U18 teams proudly represented Orlando City SC Academy. Competing against other MLS academies, our players showcased our commitment to playing dynamic, attacking football. 🔥 Special shoutout to our U18 team, who finished the fall semester undefeated! Their ability to impose our playing style, show maturity, and represent the values of our Academy is the result of the quality work happening within our program. 🤝 Beyond the matches, the event brought together Academy staff and leaders from across the country, providing opportunities to connect, share best practices, and collaborate on the future of youth development in the United States. This week was a proud moment for our Academy and the result of the incredible effort from both players and staff to consistently perform at their best. Let’s do great things together! 🦁

Our next finalists for Sponsorship Activation of the Year are Orlando City SC, Orlando Pride and Inter&Co, for “Inter&Co Stadium Naming Rights.” In January of this year, Orlando City SC, Orlando Pride and Inter&Co announced a historic and multi-faceted 10-year naming rights partnership to name the teams’ home venue Inter&Co Stadium. Inter&Co was also announced as the Club’s Official Financial Partner, offering significant fan perks such as a free food & beverage voucher when a new account is opened. The launch of the partnership garnered nearly 900k social media impressions and Inter&Co is supporting a grassroots initiative within the Parramore community to provide financial literacy to youth in and around the stadium. É difícil vencer quem nunca desiste. Orlando conecta culturas e sonhos. Vamos Orlando!

  • Thankful for our community 💜 With two days to go before the Thanksgiving holiday, Orlando City SC and the Orlando Pride hosted the Club’s ninth-annual Turkey Distribution, presented by Publix Super Markets, on Tuesday morning at Inter&Co Stadium. The yearly event is hosted in collaboration with District 5 Commissioner Shan Rose’s office, giving back to the teams' neighbors in downtown Orlando. This year’s Turkey Distribution saw 1,000 turkeys given away to District 5 residents, as well as additional trimmings for a complete Thanksgiving meal. Additional services and items were available to assist the unhoused residents of District 5, led by Heart of Florida United Way. Additional support, services and products were provided by Pepsi, Frito Lay, Once Upon a Coconut, Spice World, OVG Hospitality and Takis, as well as volunteer contributions from the City and Pride front office, Orlando City Academy players, Club partners and the City of Orlando and District 5 Commissioner Rose’s office.
