Huge kudos to Alex Johnson and Simon Taylor on their breakdown of OatFi on Alex's Fintech Takes pod. This is the most accurate 3rd-party account of our business I've ever heard. I wasn't interviewed prior to this conversation and am impressed by their understanding of our business model, (rarely grokked by those within the venture ecosystem), and intuition around the real future opportunities & questions asked. Our business is a complicated one, and in the nascent world of 'embedded lending', I find that OatFi defines the word 'embedded' quite differently. While we often get lumped in with every 'Lending as a Service' / B2B BNPL / Embedded Lender / etc. out there, if you take time to understand, you'll find that we're quite different. Alex Johnson, Simon Taylor, if you ever want my thoughts on the risks / opportunities you highlighted, holler at me! https://lnkd.in/dXzRV3HK
