This Thanksgiving, Oasis distributed over 1,400 turkeys to families in Paterson, NJ! Through our partnership with Islamic Relief USA, we were able to provide families with a memorable Thanksgiving meal. For many, Thanksgiving is a joyous occasion to gather with loved ones and enjoy delicious food. However, underserved communities facing food insecurity often struggle to enjoy this time of year. No family should ever have to go hungry, especially during the holiday season. Islamic Relief USA provided Oasis with halal turkeys to distribute to our community members, which relieved a massive burden for families who could not afford to buy a turkey this year. We would like to extend a heartfelt thank you to Islamic Relief USA for their generous donation. Their support has enabled us to serve even more people and continue making a positive impact on our community. This project is being implemented with the generous support of Islamic Relief USA.

Oasis would like to thank Dollar General for their generous grant, which will help support our literacy programs! 📚 This grant will allow us to continue to teach literacy through GED courses to women in Paterson. It will help women with career advancement, access to higher education, and give them a sense of personal empowerment! Thank you again, Dollar General!

One week ago, Oasis hosted the17th Annual Robert L. Pash Memorial Golf Outing. We would like to thank all our sponsors, golfers, and generous supporters for coming out to enjoy brunch, a day of golf, an amazing silent and live auction, and dinner. The rain did not stop us from having a great day on the course! The mission of Oasis is to change the lives of women and children by breaking the cycle of poverty through compassionate programs designed to feed, clothe, educate, and empower women and children in need. Because of your constant support, we can provide women and children with education, social services, and basic needs. Oasis provides food, clothing, and counseling to help women and children meet their basic needs. We provide educational classes for women and academic after-school programs for children to help them thrive. Support at our annual events allows us to serve the women and children of Paterson.
