DEI is under attack - still! While an important headline, it's not a new one. I have been accredited for 15 years as a Minority owned business through the Northwest Mountain Minority Supplier Development Council - our local chapter supporting the Northwest US. I appreciate the companies supporting DEI that are listed on the photo, as well as the people on the board helping to further our local DEI work - it was a great year end meeting addressing what we face in 2025. And the work will still be hard, requiring <more> grit and <more> resilience. It was also a lovely reunion with Fernando Martinez who I met when I first applied for certification and haven't seen in ages. And now we have the leadership of Karla Malacon - thank you for all you and your team are doing. #diversity #equity #business Oxygen Exp

Recently, Northwest Mountain Minority Supplier Development Council President and CEO Karla Malacon, along with our Manager of Operations, Huda Al-musawi, attended the UW Foster School of Business MBEP Graduation! 🧑🎓 As one of the co-founders of this special program, which empowers minority-owned businesses to thrive in competitive markets, it was an honor to personally issue graduation certificates to the program's participants.
