Neon is building open-source cloud-native PostgreSQL. Our architecture separates storage from computing, allowing for stateless and Serverless Postgres. We’re a well-funded startup with deep knowledge of Postgres internals and decades of experience building databases. Our storage layer is written in rust and cloud control plane is written in Go.

Neon branches make schema migrations easier and safer. Here's why: 1/ Neon branches let you test schema changes on production-like copies of your database without impacting production. Each schema change can be tested first in a child branch. 2/ Via our GitHub Integration, this workflow is added to your pipelines. A child branch is created automatically when a PR is opened, and all schema changes between the main and child branches are tracked via a comment in the PR. 3/ Reviews become faster and easier for your team, and issues are caught early. Neon, the serverless Postgres database built for developers, launched Neon Authorize. It enables developers to manage permissions and access controls with ease.
