We recently celebrated the ribbon cutting at Carol Ave Apartments! This rehab project in the Allston-Brighton neighborhood consisted of a deep energy retrofit and fully electrifying 33 solar ready rental units, including 29 affordable homes, helping to meet a critical need in the community with consideration to affordability and sustainability. We’re proud to have partnered with Allston Brighton CDC, Davis Square Architects, Community Square Associates LLC, David Levy, Tierney Development Services, LLC, BLW Engineers, New Ecology, Inc., and The Mayors Office of Housing to bring this project to life. Together, we’re creating more opportunities for affordable and sustainable housing while strengthening communities!

Here’s a first look at the units at Pok Oi Residences, currently under construction in the heart of Boston’s vibrant Chinatown neighborhood. These spacious 1, 2, and 3 bedroom apartments will soon provide 85 new affordable homes for individuals and families at or below 80% of the area’s median income. The units are designed to meet Passive House sustainability standards with modern finishes and thoughtful layouts, creating a welcoming space for all. Stay tuned for more updates and completed photos as we bring this project to life with Beacon Communities LLC, CHINESE CONSOLIDATED BENEVOLENT ASSOCIATION OF NEW ENGLAND, and Bruner/Cott! #AffordableHousing #ChinatownBoston #CommunityDevelopment #SneakPeek
