📢 Genome Research Update from MiLaboratories! 📢 We are happy to share that our latest research paper, "Ultrasensitive Allele Inference from Immune Repertoire Sequencing Data with MiXCR," is published in Genome Research. Our team, in collaboration with Scott Boyd and Artem Mikelov, PhD from Stanford University, Corey T. Watson and Oscar L Rodriguez from University of Louisville, Diego Ortmans and Souad Rahmouni from University of Liège, has developed a novel algorithm for highly sensitive and specific inference of variable (V) and joining (J) gene alleles. This breakthrough allows for the reconstruction of individual high-quality gene segment libraries, enhancing our understanding of allelic diversity in immunoglobulin (IG) and T cell receptor (TR) loci. Check out our public database built using AIRR-seq data from 450 donors: https://vdj.online/library Key highlights: - Our algorithm is integrated into the MiXCR software, enabling high-throughput novel allele discovery. - We assessed genetic diversity within IGH, TRA, and TRB loci across diverse populations using AIRR-seq data from 450 donors. - A publicly accessible database of inferred alleles and their population frequencies has been established and made available at https://vdj.online/library . A big thank you to all our colleagues and collaborators! 🔗 Read the full paper here: https://lnkd.in/d8pVmQ4y George Nefedev Dmitriy Chudakov Dmitriy Bolotin Alexey Davydov Mark Izraelson Valeriia Skatova Stanislav Poslavsky #MiLaboratories #MiXCR #Genomics #Immunology #Research #OpenAccess #Bioinformatics

I had a blast at the European Congress of Immunology this week in Dublin! 🇮🇪🧬 This was my first time representing MiLabs in person, and it was amazing to finally meet fans of MiXCR face-to-face and hear how it’s helping their research. A common theme from attendees was that while they had exciting plans for ambitious wet lab experiments, the data analysis side could feel overwhelming, especially for those unfamiliar with R/Python. These researchers were really excited about Platforma, which delivers expert-level immune analysis without needing the bioinformatics skills. Plus they loved the fact that MiLabs tools are FREE for academics! Thanks to everyone who stopped by! If we didn’t get a chance to connect, feel free to shoot me a message. #ECI2024 #immunology #bioinformatics #computationalbiology

🍀 I’m excited to attend the 7th European Congress of Immunology in Dublin next week! 🍀 At MiLaboratories, we’re all about helping researchers get the most out of their immune repertoire data. Our software has been cited in over 15,000 papers and has analyzed more than 10 million samples. Even with this success, we know there are still many more researchers we can support and that’s why we’re proudly sponsoring this year’s ECI! I’ll be at the MiLabs booth with our CSO, Dmitriy Chudakov, answering questions and discussing all things immunology. If you’re at ECI, swing by the MiLabs booth to say hello! We’d love to tell you how you can use MiXCR at no cost for your next project. Who else is attending? Let me know—I’d love to meet up! We can grab a coffee or a Guinness 🍻 #ECI2024
