This week our McCann Detroit team came together to collect, sort, and wrap over 160 gifts for Adopt-a-Family and Detroit Rescue Mission Ministries. We are so proud to work with these amazing partners, contributing to the ongoing support of our local community.

It was an absolute pleasure hosting industry leaders, from all around Detroit, for this year’s Effie Worldwide Awards judging! The Effies represent the gold standard for creative effectiveness, and it was inspiring to witness the thoughtful discussions around what makes campaigns truly impactful. A huge thank you to everyone who participated, including our three McCann Detroit judges, Gabrielle Burrows, Jennifer Swantek, and Katie Walton. Your efforts continue to set a high bar for our industry. Together, we’re shaping the future of creative excellence in Detroit and beyond!

We’re excited to share that we took home 5 LIA - London International Awards awards this year!! In the Creativity in PR category and in collaboration with our partners at Weber Shandwick, we earned TWO bronze awards for “Best Use of Content Marketing” and “Corporate Purpose/ Corporate Social Responsibility” for our work on “Translators” for U.S. Bank. And we won THREE Bronze awards for “A Holiday To Remember” for Chevrolet in the Music and Sound, Branded Entertainment, and Digital categories for use of licensed music, scripted short film, and branded entertainment, respectively. Young Foundation, The DRE Project, Independence Rides, and SHARE Detroit to address the inequities that exist in Detroit across Housing, Food Security, Transportation, and Education. A very special thanks to Carl W. Wellborn Sr., Jennifer Jackson, Shana White, and Khary K. Turner (pictured in front row, left to right) for the thoughtful and deeply inspiring panel discussion this morning. We encourage everyone to support these non-profit organizations and to remember them on Giving Tuesday, Dec. 3rd.
