MARTA is providing free shuttles from King Memorial Station to The Carter Presidential Center from 6 PM today (Jan. 4) through 6 AM on Jan. 7.
What to Know Before You Go:
🔹 Train to Shuttle: Take MARTA’s Blue/Green Line to King Memorial Station, then board a free shuttle to The Carter Center. Shuttles will run every 3–5 minutes around the clock. Customers must still pay a fare to ride MARTA to King Memorial Station. Use Breeze Mobile 2.0 to tap and go at the faregates.
🔹 Rail Service: Continuous MARTA rail service will operate during this period.
🔹 No Bags Allowed: Backpacks, bags, purses, clutches, umbrellas, and other prohibited items are not allowed at The Carter Center. Check the full prohibited items list online.
🔹 No Public Parking: No parking at King Memorial Station. Find systemwide parking at other MARTA stations and plan your trip in advance.
🔹 Mobility: For assistance, Mobility customers can call 404-848-5826 or take a Mobility shuttle from King Memorial Station.
🔹 Expect wait times, large crowds, and enhanced security. MARTA staff in red beanies and safety vests will be on-site to assist.
