Yesterday Atlanta Beltline, Inc. President & CEO Clyde Higgs joined our friends at Invest Atlanta, the Atlanta Affordable Housing Fund, LP, City of Atlanta HOME funds, and Partners for HOME to celebrate the completion of the Ralph David House, a 54-unit motel conversion that will provide 100% Permanent Supportive Housing to those making 30% AMI and below. This redevelopment is a pivotal one for the Beltline and our City, as it marks the first time we've invested in affordable housing that is dedicated to providing for Atlantans who were previously unhoused. We're proud of what the Beltline has brought to Atlanta, and we want to do all we can to ensure it is accessible to all. Transit along the corridor plays a key role in opening up the loop to those who can't easily walk, bike, scoot, or run for miles. It also helps ensure all Atlantans benefit from the investment in and along the Beltline, whether they want to live, work, create a business, or shop along the trail. #PublicTransportation #PublicInfrastructure

Access to equitable and inclusive housing has always been a cornerstone of our vision at the Beltline. Now, as we look toward the trail's completion in 2030, we plan to surpass our initial affordable housing goal by nearly 1,500 units (at least). More in this FOX 5 Atlanta, WAGA-TV interview with our Vice President of Housing Policy & Development Dennis Richards Jr., MBA.
