  • We've found ourselves in several SEO (Search Engine Optimization) conversations lately, so we thought we'd share some best practices: 1. Keywords Identify Target Keywords: Use tools like Google Keyword Planner, Ahrefs, or SEMrush to find relevant keywords with good search volume and low competition. Long-Tail Keywords: Focus on long-tail keywords that are specific to your company's offerings. These often have less competition and higher conversion rates. Optimize Content: Incorporate these keywords naturally into your website's content, including titles, headings, meta descriptions, and throughout the body text. 2. Content Blog Posts: Regularly publish blog posts on topics related to your business. High-quality, informative content can attract visitors and keep them engaged. Visual Content: Use high-quality images and videos showcasing your customers and case studies. Guides and Tutorials: Create detailed guides and how-to tutorials related to your business. 3. On-Page SEO Title Tags and Meta Descriptions: Ensure each page has a unique and descriptive title tag and meta description that includes relevant keywords. Header Tags: Use header tags (H1, H2, H3) to structure your content and include keywords where appropriate. Alt Text for Images: Add descriptive alt text to all images to help search engines understand their content. 4. Technical SEO Site Speed: Optimize your website's loading speed. Tools like Google PageSpeed Insights can help identify areas for improvement. Mobile Optimization: Ensure your website is fully responsive and performs well on all devices. Sitemap and Robots.txt: Submit an XML sitemap to search engines and ensure your robots.txt file is correctly configured to allow crawling of important pages. 5. Backlinks Quality Backlinks: Focus on acquiring high-quality backlinks from reputable websites in your industry. Guest Posting: Write guest posts for relevant blogs and websites, including a link back to your site. Partnerships: Collaborate with other businesses, suppliers, and influencers to gain backlinks and increase exposure. 6. UX Easy Navigation: Ensure your website is easy to navigate with a clear menu structure. Engaging Layout: Use an engaging layout with plenty of visuals to keep visitors interested. Contact Information: Make it easy for visitors to contact you or request a quote. Clear CTAs (Calls to Action) can improve conversion rates. 7. Analytics Google Analytics: Use Google Analytics to track visitor behavior, page performance, and other key metrics.

  • We saw this posted on social media last week and wanted to share. While funny, it also illustrates an important point. Personas, which guide the development of messaging that resonates, can't be based on demographics alone. Instead, personas need to incorporate psychographics too, including personalities, lifestyles, interests, opinions and values. A fully developed persona includes demographics, psychographics, needs (functional, social and emotional), key messages and the best ways to reach.
