#LummusTechnology is proud to announce the opening of its second Digital Center of Excellence at its Gurgaon, India, office last week. A huge thank you to Prakash Ramdoss, Oscar Sandoval, Akash Jaisawal and Amit Sharma who all played vital roles in seeing this project through to a successful completion. The Center is an advanced technology training facility that assists plant pre- and post-launch education to drive better decision making and efficient operations. It offers support during the project life cycle, making sure an operator’s plant is engineered and built properly leading up to startup and its personnel are well versed in its operation. After the plant is launched, the Center provides an ideal environment to educate new and experienced operators and engineers in plant decision making. The facility employs dynamic and interactive plant operation scenarios using integrated, high-fidelity simulations replicating the intricacies of a real-world petrochemical plant.
