We’re excited to share an article featured in Hydrocarbon Processing's October issue by CLG’s Technology Director, Al (Ahmad) Faegh.   In this article, Al reviews the quality requirements for graphite electrodes and discusses the key elements necessary to achieve superior quality by applying CLG coking technology processes. From exciting developments in crude oil to chemicals to recent advancements in sustainable technologies, the future of our industry looks brighter than ever. CLG’s Technology Symposium involved several industry leaders. I learned a lot from them: Mitra Basiri Kashanchi (Pres. Chevron Chemicals) spoke about Chevron’s position in the energy industry and its view to filling future energy needs. Abdulrahman Jawahery (CEO BAPCO), Luc Smets (GM Refining BAPCO) updated on the massive BMP project in Bahrain. Ahmad Al Khowaiter (CTO Saudi Aramco) shared his views on transformative technologies and rational shifts in our industry. Gabriel Szabó (EVP Downstream MOL Group) provided unique insights into European energy market dynamics and strategic diversification. Rajesh Samarth (CEO CLG) reflected on CLG’s journey and future path along with a killer statement: The first oil finds in Bahrain and Saudi Arabia made modern life possible. And Ujjal Mukherjee (CTO Lummus Technology spoke about the balancing act of energy security and technology innovation.
