Earlier this week, LADWP co-hosted a Winter Solstice Sunrise Ceremony in partnership with Fernandeño Tataviam Band of Mission Indians. The day was filled with singing and celebration to welcome the new winter season. We appreciate the opportunity to celebrate alongside our tribal partners as we continue to learn and embrace the importance of environmental stewardship and sustainability. #WinterSolstice

Pure Water Los Angeles is a collaborative effort between LADWP and LA Sanitation & Environment to purify recycled water, providing a reliable, sustainable, and safe local water supply for the City of Los Angeles. Recently, in tandem with our partners at LASAN, we hosted a Stakeholder Engagement Group meeting at the Hyperion Water Reclamation Plant in Playa Del Rey. Our Senior Assistant General Manager of Water System Anselmo Collins and Barbara Romero, Director and General Manager of LASAN, each offered welcome remarks at the event. Stakeholders had the opportunity to ask questions, provide insight and tour the Hyperion Water Reclamation Plant. To learn more about Pure Water Los Angeles visit https://lnkd.in/gHiNnTm2
