This latest venture comes on the heels of MCG’s success with the development of The Hudson, which is also located in Charlottesville and boasts some of the submarket’s strongest metrics. Florida’s major metros continue to see a significant population boom and strong multifamily deliveries. The need for first-rate retail space to support Florida’s growth is evident. As seen in the graphic below, hundreds of residential projects are delivering throughout Florida in 2024 and only a handful of major retail developments.
